The national standard on compounded rubber is issued officially

    On December 31, 2014, the recommended national standard on compounded rubber - General Technical Specification on Compounded Rubber which is the No. 33 announcement (standard number:GB/T 31357-2014) of 2014 was officially issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision and the Standardization Administration of China. This standard will be officially put into effect on July 1, now it is in the period of transition. The stipulation that attracts the greatest attention is that the content of rubber in compounded rubber shall be no more than 88%, which was most controversial in the same industry.

    This standard is put under centralized management by the Subcommittee on Technology of Natural Rubber of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Rubber and Rubber Products (SAC/TC 35/SC 8). The drafting organizations include Research Institution on Farm Products Processing of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, test station of Hainan Agricultural Reclamation Center, Huangfu Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Hangzhou Shunhao Rubber Engineering Co., Ltd., Petroleum Processing Research Institute of Petroleum Company Limited, Hainan Natural Rubber Group Co., Ltd., Yunnan State Farm Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Guangken Rubber Group Co., Ltd., and China Chemical Rubber Co., Ltd.   

    Announecment on approval of issuance of General Technical Specification for Compounded Rubber and 106 national standards 

107 national starndards including the General Technical Specification for Compounded Rubber as approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC. and the Standardization Administration of China are hereby promulgated. (Refer to the appendix.)
